A roaring undulating headphone show! How does a grain of sand falling against a barrel sound? Can the air in your lungs create a sounding landscape? Is the movement over a carpet perhaps a rhythm to dance to?

Hör så tyst det är as it is, is an interactive experience, for the middle school, created by the performing arts collective Nyxxx, where the audience and actors together create a narrative concert based on sound scenography. With the help of headphones, computers, microphones, effects and other modern music equipment, we explore what is heard and not heard.

A chance to practice listening and notice the small details. A chance to get acquainted with sound technology and through your own, unique experience understand and create music. In exploring what sound can be and what sounds can tell, we get to use our imagination in a new way.

Motivation of the jury:

With small means, great tenderness and respect, the audience is led into a micro world of sound. The everyday objects, the sound of the audience's bodies and voices provide the resonant basis for a common story that the audience and the ensemble create together. An interactive performance in the best sense of the word.
