Book release - Sensory drama in specialist edaucation

In addition to creating sensory performing arts, Scen:se has also worked for 10 years on developing methods for drama and aesthetic learning processes in specialist schools. Under the leadership of Gill Brigg from England, the methods have been tested and developed with both teachers and learners across Sweden. Gill has forty years of experience working with drama in specialist schools and has also created several performances for children with special needs. Now, together with Eva von Hofsten, from Scen:se at Folkteatern Gävleborg, she has compiled these experiences into a teaching resource published by Lära förlag. Theories and methods in sensory drama provide the foundation, and the book concludes with clear lesson plans in script form, ready to be used in the classroom.

The talk is held in English.
