Anne Jonsson

International Selection Committee 2026

Anne Jonsson trained as a mime at the Ecole de mime corporel dramatuque in London, England between 2002 - 2006. Anne works as a freelance director and choreographer and is since 2022 artistic director of Teater Tre in Stockholm. Anne has a master's degree in directing and dramaturgy for movement-based performing arts from SKH and has trained Viewpoints and Suzuki for Anne Bogart and SITI copmpany. Anne's work has been shown at e.g. Teater Tre, Backa Teater, Regionteater Väst, Unga Klara and Zebradans. Anne is part of the international mentorship programme Nordic Ambition during 2024/25.

🎤 What are you most looking forward to being part of the International Selection Committee?
The reason I wanted to be part of the international selection committee was to learn more about the variety of the performing arts covering the world. In a time of backlash and exclusion we need to look to our colleagues in other countries and connect, learn and develop together. I’m excited diving into all the amazing performances we get to see our artistic peers create in other countries!
