Access, choice and collaboration

Folkteatern Gävleborg/Scen:se, Estrad Norr and Oily Cart Theatre are in the beginning of a unique artistic collaboration that will run over the coming three years, with the aim to create the most accessible show possible for young disabled audiences.

In this seminar the three theatres will have a dialogue about the collaboration and the ‘nuts and bolts’ making the work accessible and relevant. The production will be presented in three different formats and toured in the vast rural areas of northern Sweden and the UK.

Folkteatern Gävleborg and Estrad Norr are collaborating since 2022 within the project Scen:se and Oily Cart Theatre is the third partner in this coming artistic production. Oily Cart Theatre state about their work: “Imagine the impossible and rip up the rule book of theatre to make it more accessible”.
