THE NORDIC BALTIC HOUSE - LITHUANIA

The idea of the session is to disclose the ability of local/native/indigenous culture to maintain, convey and secure live transmission of values and traditions hereby strengthen the resilience of local cultures against colonizing cultures. In the session we also propose for participants to try to create theatre from the objects that are around people – spoons, forks, cups, paper sheets, etc. The theatre of objects operates through associative thinking, the nature of which is the child's ability to change the meaning of an object according to the story he/she wants to tell.
